Practice makes perfect and the word of God says we are to study to show yourself approved. You would study for test right? Let’s look at the word show. It is an action word, a verb. By walking out the steps of Christ, we show God and He approves. So we practice walking in love, treating everyone in love, and enduring in patience all things. That’s the test and Jesus Christ in the one who searches the hearts and the reigns. So forgive people who rub you the wrong way, cast your cares upon the Lord and watch what He will do.
“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” – Matthew 6:31-33 NKJV
Seek first the Kingdom of God and all thing will be applied to you… How much is all? Meditate on the Lord’s instructions and trust Him, have faith in Him and let God direct your footsteps. We are told in Don’t worry about the world when they reject you and treat you different. For the god of this world (Satan) has blinded them so they reject you, because they rejected Jesus before you; they don’t understand so forgive them for they know not what they do. This is a big part of denying yourself.
So when you are persecuted by the Satan, problems arise, and people seem to offend you from everywhere, rejoice that the Lord made this day and that he is chastising you, because He loves you. Thank God for it and ask what He is showing you that you need to let go of or get out of your life so you can finally get serious about knowing Him. He doesn’t want you to know about Him, Jesus wants a relationship with you and is calling, so pick it up!
Glory be to God and the grace of our lord Jesus Christ be with you all,
Kingdom’s Keys
“Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And in His law he meditates day and night.”
– Psalms 1:1-2 NKJV
